This weekend our team was busy! Our kids wrestling team from Pickering and North York competed with Coach Fred Ortencio at the Guelph Youth Wrestling Tournament!
Amazing results for these little killers! Tons of things to come back and work on, and some of these hard working guys actually got invited to be with the teen’s class in Pickering based on their great performance and dedication!
Our BJJ team spent their weekend smashing it as well at the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro in Toronto at Ryerson University, as well as our good friend and teammate Leozinho and fellow Canadians Josh and Jacob Boodhoo representing and bringing home the gold all the way out in the Netherlands!
We brought a number of medals back from these tournaments but nonetheless, the most important thing we brought was our team and our sense of community for all of our Pickering and North York teammates!

Everyone who competed but missed the podium we are so proud of. Diego Santos fought his way through a dislocated shoulder into the second round but couldn’t continue through the bronze match due to the injury. We were rooting for an Arwin-Diego closeout, but we’ve got some time to do it all again at Pans!!!
Tons of our affiliates from Kitchener at Guardhouse came by to support their troops as well as our local affiliates from Budo and Toronto Top Team!
Congrats again everyone, lets keep grinding!!!
